Is  Shield Proof Roofing licensed and insured?

Shield Proof Roofing carries active Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Commercial Automobile policies far above the state-required minimums. In addition, we are a proud partner of the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Association (FRSA) and do not lease our employees. We are licensed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations (DBPR) and hold the active license. Certificates are available upon request.

Does  Shield Proof Roofing use subcontractors?

We do not use subcontractors. All of our team members are employees of  Shield Proof Roofing. In addition, our employees must pass background checks and we do not hire day labor or temporary help.

Do you require a down payment?

We start with a 50% down payment and then 30% half way through, and then upon completion and your satisfaction, we will send an invoice for the remaining 20% of the contracted work.

How long will it take to replace my roof?

The time it takes to replace a roof is directly related to the size of the roof. However,  Shield Proof Roofing ususally completes most projects in just 1 day! Inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances can add additional time to a replacement project.

Do you pull the permit?

Yes.  Shield Proof Roofing will handle submitting all required paperwork and scheduling the necessary inspections associated with the roof work you need. The cost of this work is included in our pricing.
